Speech by Cuban FM at opening of Cuban embassy in the US
Havana, Cuba - Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla delivered a speech at the ceremony to re-open the Cuban embassy in Washington DC this morning.

Phytosanitary worker day. Its importance

Cuba and the U.S.A. Re-establish Diplomatic Relations
Havana, Cuba - After intense months of talks between the governments of Cuba and the United States, as had been announced, diplomatic relations between the two countries were re-established on Monday, at 12:01 midnight.
Coinciding with the date of the re-establishment of relations, at 10:33 a.m., the voice of a young officer of the Ceremony Unit of the General Staff of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces will be heard, and after the usual protocol the Cuban flag will be hoisted in the garden of the now embassy of the island to the United States, and the notes of the national anthem will be heard.

Cuba''s Communist Party to Hold Seventh Congress in 2016

Havana, Jul 16 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Communist Party will hold its Seventh Congress on April 16, 2016, a foundation date of the organization and the 55th anniversary of the Declaration of the Socialist Nature of the Revolution, Granma newspaper reported.
The event will assess the implementation of the agreements of the Fourth Congress and the First National Conference of the Party, specify the way to continue improving the Cuban economic and social model, and elect the members of the Central Committee, the daily added.
