Surgical Operations Resumed at Comandante Pinares Hospital
Artemisa, Cuba - An investment ‘s worth 12,000 Cuban pesos and above 600 CUC allowed to connect water supply for operating rooms in Comandante Pinares General Teaching Hospital and due to that surgical activity was reactivated, which stopped its service during the first quarter of the current year.
Díaz–Canel meets with Cuban religious representatives and fraternal associations
The First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, met with almost a hundred representatives of different religious institutions and fraternal associations on Monday, September 14, at the Party Central Committee, as part of the dialogues initiated a little over 30 years ago, with the first meeting between Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro and the Cuban Council of Churches.

New graduates teach in schools of Candelaria
Artemisa, Cuba - Several are the young female teachers who start working this school year in the municipality of Candelaria after the recent graduation in the Teachers Training School. Cuban Religious People Stress Significance of Upcoming Papal Visit
Havana - Representatives of different denominations and creeds from Cuba, stressed today the significance and importance of the visit Pope Francis will carry out here from September 19 to 22.
In statements to Trabajadores newspaper, the executive secretary of the Cuban Council of Churches, Damaris Gonzalez, stated that the papal visit is an opportunity for the country, the churches and the fraternal movements.
