Cuba and the U.S. List Topics to Progress on Bilateral Relations

Havana, Cuba - Environmental protection and prevention of natural disasters, health, civil aviation, law implementation and enforcement, the struggle against drug trafficking and human trafficking, and transnational crime, are among the top issues that experts from Cuba and the United States will begin to discuss starting from coming weeks.

My neighborhood to the Forest

San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba -   Ariguanabo Marti Forest began  within its program of activities, the game My Neighborhood to the Forest during the weekend, wich aims to provide a healthy recreational option.

Optional activity aims to influence the different communities, through mass organizations, where people visit the cultural institution in a pleasant space.

Live and be useful

Thousands of people die every day in the world because of wars, hunger, disease and other causes. Important organizations in the world are mobilized to work in favor of life. That  should be preserved in any event,because life is a short chance, in wich humans, have to be useful and productive.

Are not there other useful and productive living things?, of course, but only humans have consciousness and can choose to be or not. The ability to reason is equally useful when facing problems or life difficulties  . Difficult situations that should never drag to suicide.

Raúl receives Panamanian President

Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers, yesterday morning September 10, received the honorable Juan Carlos Varela Rodríguez, President of the Republic of Panama.

During the friendly meeting, the two Presidents discussed prospects for expanding ties between the two countries, in particular in cooperative efforts and trade. They additionally addressed issues of international interest, among them the integration process underway in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Artemisa, Cuba – Deserved recognition received at its 58th anniversary the Factory of Cement and Quicklime “Martyrs of Artemisa” and the 55 years as Socialist State Company for the business efficiency on the technical, productive and labor union results during 2014.

Active the first logistics base in the Special Development Zone of Mariel

Artemisa, Cuba – The first base of warehouses of logistics activities, became operational in the Special Development Zone of Mariel (ZEDM) in the province of Artemisa, which consolidates every day a project that represents the Cuba´s door to foreign trade.

The work has two large warehouses that store the so called dry goods without refrigeration demand and the one that more systematic receives the modern container terminal.
