Young Cuban journalists participate in the Audiovisual UNESCO Workshop
San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - About the Cuban Press Day is valid to consider the constant improvement for good journalism, that´s why young professionals from Radio and Television in the country will participate in the second stage of an Audiovisual Workshop.
The Cuban Commission for the United Nations of Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the International Institute of Journalism "José Martí" in Havana convene this meeting from March 31st to April 2nd.
Open application for university courses
Artemisa, Cuba -The filling of the application forms to apply for the courses for the 2015/2016 higher education, take place until next March 20 in the province of Artemisa.
Students currently enrolled in the 12th grade will make the request in pre-university where they study and the one in the course by encounters at the Municipal University Centers.
Cuba's Raul Castro Meets with Visiting Italian FM
Havana, Cuba - Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, met on Thursday afternoon with Paolo Gentiloni, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, who is on an official visit to Cuba.

The Ariguanabo Marti Forest received the delegation, and marked the historical journey to know the history and with the touch of the Demajagua bell replica. Visitors planted a pine tree that identifies Artemisa lawyers and perpetuate this activity, listed by Dixan Fuentes Guzmán memorable and patriotic, also confirmed that the future of the nation is in each of these lawyers, soldiers of socialist legality, premise to defend the social model.
