Started National Campaign against Polio
Artemisa, Cuba - More than 22 000 children in the province of Artemisa will be immunized for these days during the 54th National Vaccination Campaign of Anti-polio Vaccination.

Havana, Cuba - Cuban government vice-president Ricardo Cabrisas is paying an official visit to Japan where he will meet with officials in the political and economic sectors.

Women of Artemisa play an important role in the current nomination of candidates
Artemisa, Cuba - Among the 134 persons proposed as candidates for delegates of the People's Power till the present date in Artemisa, over 40% are women.
According to the report by Vilma Zamora, president of the provincial electoral commission, at about 65 women have been nominated in the current democratic process that take place in neighborhoods and communities.
