Self-employment: with variety and hygiene
Artemisa, Cuba - With the addition of self-employment in the non state sector, many ariguanabense chose this to meet their needs and work in such a worthy place as any. Specifically, the area of food production has significant acceptance among the self-employed, who guarantee the variety and hygiene, in my opinion, essential pillars to sustain an activity for the public.
Actually the image of San Antonio de los Baños has changed. Its main streets were transformed and other less traveled on business trips, in a kind of boulevard where you can quench your desires, fight hunger and find all kinds of products for sale.
Signs of Solidarity
Artemisa, Cuba - National and international media highlight during these days the Cuban medical cooperation, not only to face the current Ebola virus outbreak in Africa , but in other fields of cooperation.
However, Cuba’s solidarity to several countries comprises many sectors including culture, sports and education. Reinier Martinez, a young teacher from Artemisa has become an example of Cuban altruism in Angola since April 2013.
Martinez, a Telecommunications and Electronics engineer is part of the first group of teachers participating in a collaborative project between the Ministry of Higher Education in Angola and the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) in Cuba.
Awarded the quality in the food industry of Artemisa
Artemisa, Cuba – Winery San Cristóbal belonging to Cuban Rum Company was awarded with the Relevant Prize in the Third Provincial Meeting of Committees for the Quality of the Food Industry, held last Friday at the Recreation Center Los Laureles in the municipality of Artemisa.
Mayelín Báez González and Heriberto Peña Romero, authors of the awarded presentation, proposed a significant reduction of the costs for the production that increase considerably the efficiency of the wines Soroa.
