Seychelles President Opens His Country's Embassy in Cuba

Havana - Seychelles President, Danny Faure, opens his country''s embassy in Cuba today, as part of his official visit to the Caribbean nation.

The Seychelles embassy in Cuba is the first of that African nation in the Latin American and Caribbean region and its opening took place by late 2016.

Zimbabwean Higher Education Minister to Visit Cuba

Havana - The Zimbabwean Minister of Higher Education, Sciences and Technological Development, Jonathan Moyo, who heads a 12-university rector delegation, will visit Cuba on April 27. According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Mr. Jonathan Moyo is intent on being aware of Cuban higher education and scientific development, so he will hold meetings at the University of Havana and some Biocubafarma institutions.

Cuba and Portugal Extol Strength of their Relations

Lisbon - Cuban and Portuguese foreign ministers, Bruno Rodriguez and Augusto Santos Silva, respectively, extolled today the strength of their bilateral relations in all areas, by means of a free-flowing exchange between both countries.
