Cuba and the United States will hold today in Washington the 4th Meeting of the Bilateral Commission.

Havana - Cuban Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Economy and Planning, Ricardo Cabrisas, met the Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Li Yong, official sources today reported.

Three new agreements in health, aeronautics, and the fight against drug trafficking; eight visits of high level and 12 technical meetings, are some of the achievements in relations between Cuba and United States, summarized in this capital Gustavo Machin, General Deputy Director for the U.S. of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.

Havana - Cuba is celebrating today the World Tourism Day with a renewed travel industry and the attention from the five continents to the peculiarities of this archipelago.

A communiqué issued by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health points out that since 2013, at the request of the government of President Dilma Rousseff and with the participation of the Pan-American Health Organization, Cuba joined the “More Doctors” program. The text adds that by way of this government program some 11,400 physicians have been working in Brazil during that period, which have offered their services in 3 356 municipalities representing 83 percent of the 4 058 taking part in the program.

Havana - The presidents of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba (CCC) and the Chinese Council for the Promotion of Foreign Trade, Orlando Hernandez and Jiang Zengwei, respectively, signed today a plan of action aimed at promoting trade between their countries.
