Paris - The Cuban female basketball team has reached the quarterfinals of the Pre-Olympic Tournament of Basketball in Nantes, France, defeating New Zealand 64-62 in Group A.

A hundred boats, mostly from the United States, will participate in the 66th Ernest Hemingway International Billfish Tournament to run from this Monday through June 18th in Havana city.
