Number of foreign runners increases for Marabana 2019
Havana - Carlos Gattorno Correa, Director of the Marabana/Maracuba Project, reported that a total of 902 runner from 59 different countries have signed up for competing in the biggest marathon event in Cuba, 300 more than last year.
Paradela becomes first Cuban athlete in US professional sport without breaking ties with his country
The soccer player Luis Javier Paradela was happy after debuting in the United Soccer League (USL) with the club Reno 1868 FC, which made him the first Cuban athlete resident on the Caribbean island to play in the professional sport of the United States without breaking ties with his country.
