Cuba finishes tenth in Athletics World Championships
Havana, Cuba - Cuba finished in the tenth place in the standing positions of the Athletics World Championships held in Beijing China, with 2 gold medals and a silver one.
Kenya topped the standings with 7 gold, 6 silver and three bronze medals, trailed by Jamaica (7-2-3) and the United States (6-6-6), according to the official website of the event, Russia, who won the previous championships when it was the host in 2013, finished in the ninth position, with a bronze medal more than Cuba.

Ashton Eaton Breaks His Own Decathlon World Record; Wins Gold
Beijing - Olympic champion US Ashton Eaton broke his own decathlon world record by six points to defend his crown with a 9,045 point total at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing.
Eaton, 27, set his previous world record at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. with a 9,039 point total to break Roman Sebrle's 11-year-old record by 13 points.

Caballero discus throw reached 69.28 meters which brought with it her major medal for her sports career in a year of great achievements, since she became Champ at Toronto Pan-American Games in June.
