Havana - The organizers of the 28th International Book Fair (FIL) in Cuba are reporting on Monday the results with several statistics records.

With the President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, in attendance, Eusebio Leal Spengler received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa in International Relations, granted by the Raúl Roa Kourí Higher Institute of International Relations.

Havana, Cuba - The International Book Fair (IDF), Cuba 2019, a cultural event considered the most significant of the Cuban publishing movement, was inaugurated this Thursday with the presence of Miguel Diaz-Canel, President of the Councils of States and Ministers.

London - Havana Historian Eusebio Leal was distinguished by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) as an honorary associate, after the corresponding certificates were delivered in London, Cuban diplomatic sources said on Wednesday.

Ediciones Unión, the publishing house of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC), will present works by both established and new authors from its catalogue in the 28th edition of the Havana International Book Fair.
