The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company  celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.

Havana - The King of Spain, Felipe VI, is presenting the historian of Havana, Eusebio Leal, this Wednesday with the Grand Cross of the Royal and Distinguished Spanish Order of Charles III, in the context of the 500th anniversary of this capital.

Paris - UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay said today in this capital that guaranteeing education would lay the foundations for lasting peace on Earth.

"At the Eduardo Abela Villarreal Vocational Art School, located in San Antonio de los Baños, the quality of the teaching-educational process is prioritized," said Mirelis Ferrer Llanes, head of the General Teaching Department at this institution.

Havana - The Mexican Embassy in Cuba will present the Cultural Merit award to Cuban dancer Viengsay Valdes, choreographer Alberto Mendez and cultural official Reinaldo Mendez, it was announced at a press conference.
