Havana - The classes, workshops and conferences of the XXIII International Meeting of academies for the teaching of ballet began today in the main school institution of this art in Cuba, with representatives of a dozen countries.

In order to not let the history of the International Biennials of Humor in San Antonio de los Baños die, the Eduardo Abela Provincial Center of Visual Arts inauguarated  the exhibitions ''Grandes Premios'' and ''Fornés y Sabino por siempre'', with samples belonging to the fund of the Museum of Humor.

The International Salon of Graphic Humor Cuba 2017 rewarded its contestants, as a culmination to the XX edition of the International Biennial of Humor held in San Antonio de los Baños. The jury decided to grant the Eduardo Abela Award to Cuban Alfredo Lorenzo Martirena Hernández.

With the traditional town parade of creativity, disguises and joke, accompanied by the contagious conga, comparsas and theatrical presentations, started the XX Edition of the International Biennial of Graphic Humor, Cuba 2017. The party of humor, born in San Antonio de los Baños in 1979, has this time as its central motto: "Peace ... then I exist." The creators shaped in the traditional mural of the Park of Humor different reflections on the existing war situation in the world and the way of solving it with wisdom and art.
