The Cuban 25th International Book Fair Opens Today

Havana - The 25th edition of the International Book Fair in Cuba will open today with an official ceremony marking the start of a program that will last several months.
The initial stage of the event, always located in the Cuban capital, will take place from today until February 21, then it will move to other provinces of the country, a sample of the massive and scope of one of the most waited events by Cubans throughout the year.

Over 900 new literary works, including new editions, will be at hand during the 25th Havana 2016 International Book Fair, which opens on February 11 in its venues in the Cuban capital.
The vice-president of international relations at the Cuban Book Institute, Edel Morales, told reporters that over 315 participants, including 175 authors, will be at the fair.
