The Provincial Center of Visual Arts Eduardo Abela presented the book "Tertulia habanera, my precious memories at the piano" by the ariguanabense Othoniel Rodriguez.
The work is the result of the weekly section available to the author in the Journal of Notice Canary Islands, where he lives. The one-hour video includes testimonies by US spies, CIA analysts and agents of Russia´s former KGB. The documentary, whose transmission has not yet been announced, also portraits declassified documents never seen before.

Havana - The Polo Montañez group announced plans to tour Europe to promote its latest production Regreso (Return), recorded by a Swiss label.
"As part of our projects, we want to take the phonogram to the world from tours of France and Switzerland," announced the director of the group Amaury Romero to the cultural website Suena Cubano.

Hobbit Extended Edition Trilogy in Theaters this October

Los Angeles - Extended editions of every film that make up the Hobbit trilogy, directed by New Zealand filmmaker Peter Jackson, are set to show in US theaters on October 5.
The third part of the saga, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, is the shortest trilogy film, with 174-minute extended version, while An Unexpected Journey has 182 and The Desolation of Smaug, 186.

Havana, Cuba - Alina Rodriguez one of the most important Cuban actresses of all time, admired for her exceptional theatrical talents and much loved by her nobility as a human being, died in Havana, victim of cancer.
