Holguin, Cuba - More than 45 artists from France, Canada, Mexico and Cuba are participating Thursday in the 26th edition of the World Festival of Young Artists, held every year in this eastern Cuban province.

The renowned Francisco López Sacha praised , Miguel Terry Valdespino, a Brigadier General with command of a troop, in terms of writers, because of his dizzying domination and rise in the world of literature, with elegance through drama, theater, poetry , with jocular tone, but at the same time with the pride of feeling his height.

The art instructor, plastic artist and writer Daniel Arango ''Anamú'', from Ariguanabo, teaches creation workshops to students from the special school ''17 de Abril'', in San Antonio de los Baños. Anamú is one of the favorite teachers for children with special educational needs.

The outstanding Cuban cartoonist Boligán Corvo participates in the XXI International Biennial of Graphic Humor in San Antonio de los Baños, his hometown. On this occasion he also collaborates with the Ariguanabo Foundation (FUNDAR).

The Municipal Council of the José Martí Cultural Society and the Municipal University Center (CUM), in Guanajay, Artemisa, convene the workshop La Edad de Oro (The Golden Age), on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of José Martí’s children’s magazine, a classic work of children's literature.

Artemisa, Cuba - Once again, the International Film and Television School (EICTV) was awarded another prize. On this occasion ''El día de los conectados" received the Audience Award for the best short film at the 28th Malaga Film Festival.
