La Paz - The Bolivian branch of the Association of Medical Professionals Graduated in Cuba condemned all kinds of interference and aggressions against the Caribbean island, as well as the activation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act by the United States.

Buenos Aires - Representatives of the Autonomous Workers' Confederation of Argentina (CTA Autonoma) ratified the historic ties of brotherhood with Cuba, and expressed solidarity with the Caribbean island, amid constant aggressions by the United States.

“Stop the debt spiral, increase investments and exports, promote local development projects and replace imports, are the most important tasks of the Cuban economy.” Minister of the Cuban economic Alejandro Gil said.

Manuel Marrero Cruz, Minister of Tourism, expressed confidence in the country union leaders to mobilize members in the common goal of mitigating the effects of the Helms-Burton Act and the recent measures approved by the U.S. Government, orchestrated in order to affect the progress of the Cuban leisure industry.

Mexico - The Government of Cuba gives full guarantee to investors who bring their capital to Cuba, even grants certifications and attestations to offer them security and trust, a senior Cuban official said Wednesday.

Havana - As of the month of April, 595, 559 Cuban workers were involved in the self-employed sector, according to the island´s Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
