UN Agencies Mark Second Day of Havmun 2017
Havana - The second day of the Havana Model United Nations (Havmun) will include today keynote speeches from many UN agencies and debates of the commissions on international issues.
Vietnam, Cuba Strengthen Defense Ties
Hanoi - Officials from Vietnam and Cuba have discussed about the development of cooperation relations in defense with a view to strengthening it, as part of a visit here of a delegation from the Ministry of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces. The issue was discussed at a meeting held by the head of the Army Corps General, Leopoldo Cintra Frias, with his Vietnamese peer, General Ngo Xuan Lich, who expressed satisfaction for the continuous reinforcement of the traditional ties of friendship and solidarity between both peoples.

United Nations - Cuba said that Latin America and the Caribbean is an inspiration for other regions in nuclear disarmament at the United Nations in an event for the 50th year of the Tlatelolco agreement.
