Havana - The director for the United States at the Foreign Ministry of Cuba, Carlos Fernández de Cossío, reiterated on Tuesday the island's denunciations about the lack of cooperation from Washington in the quest of answers about the alleged health incidents of US diplomats.

The Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Cuba, committed to the solidarity and humanistic principles that have guided Cuba’s medical cooperation for the last 55 years, has been participating in the Program 'More Doctors for Brazil' since its inception in August 2013.  This initiative launched by Dilma Rousseff, who was at that moment the president of the Federal Republic of Brazil, pursued the purpose of guaranteeing medical assistance to the majority of the Brazilian people, following the principle of universal health coverage promoted by the World Health Organization.

Miami -  U.S. airfreight company FedEx has dropped plans to start a five-times-a-week cargo service between Miami and Varadero,  in the province of Matanzas, Cuba.

The reformulation of the previous Article 68, which is currently contained in Article 82, should be interpreted as an advance in a process as complex as the reform of the most important norm in our social and political context.
