EU provides protection to its entrepreneurs against Helms Burton Act
In the event that Title III of the Helms Burton Act is applied, the European Union (EU) has endowed itself with antidote legislation, a Council regulation that ensures the protection of its citizens and entrepreneurs, Alberto Navarro, EU ambassador to Cuba, explained in Havana.

U.S. sanctions British Group for violating Cuba blockade
The United States announced that the British Acteon Group, a provider of submarine services in the oil and gas industry, will have to pay 227,500 dollars for alleged violations of the blockade on Cuba.
