Havana - Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla and his Chilean counterpart Heraldo Muñoz met yesterday September 3, in Havana, with the objective of deepening political ties and strengthening the two countries’ commercial and investment relations.

Rodríguez Parrilla thanked Chile for its consistent support to Cuba’s UN General Assembly resolution against the U.S. blockade, and reiterated the country’s commitment to Latin American integration.

With a young and professional staff, the channel expands its proposals with 19 informative and varied programs for the general public from Monday to Friday and it reaches the 11 municipalities of the province.

Artemisa, Cuba – Last Tuesday took place in Artemisa the act and military ceremony for the beginning of the second half of 2015 in the training for the defense of the country in a military unit of the region.

For the outstanding results in the performance of the assigned tasks, several officers of the Revolutionary Armed Forces received the distinction of Distinguished Service and the medal Production of Defense in the presence of the Major General Onelio Aguilera Bermúdez, chief of the Western Army.

Artemisa, Cuba - The day began very early in the morning in schools all over Artemisa province. Teachers as dream makers, are waiting for students eager to new experience and full of expectations. Again classrooms become halls for inter changes and discoveries.

In order to have schools ready to begin the new course, during the last days of August, while some persons were enjoying their vacations , a group of teachers, parents and students went to 375 schools to clean them and have them ready, besides the Art school (EPA) and two Sports school (EPEF and Eide).

An efficient way to infuse security, counseling and psychological protection for our children is always responding the same way to a behavior and not make our attitude to how we feel that day or our mood, because this shows inconsistency and brings  disastrous results in the education process.

Who will be my math teacher ? Has the biology lab been assembled to begin the course? How will I deal with Physics and Chemistry? Surely today hundreds of thousands of students found the answers to these and other questions, in primary, secondary, pre-university, polytechnic schools or the University in Artemisa province.

This is the day to return, or to know the new school, new friends, upcoming challenges over the next months. No matter the classroom , workshop or brainstorming, if they are the first few letters or numbers and variables, the essential thing is the will to teach or learn.
