Artemisa, Cuba – Among the strategies of work that are putting into practice by the professionals of the teaching dental clinic Severino Rosell in the municipality of Artemisa to raise the quality of the dental services that they provided to the population, they applied surveys to determine the degree of satisfaction of users which usually come to the institution.

Ecological Refrigerator Installed in Mariel Development Zone

Havana, Cuba - Cuba installed a modern refrigerator in the Special Development Zone Mariel (ZEDM) that uses ammonia gas as a natural and environmentally friendly refrigerant that does not damage the ozone layer and does not contribute to global warming.

Its use will enable annual savings of 126, 5 tons of oil to the economy, Argudín Jesus Quintana, area specialist engineering Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of the Ministry of Industries told Cuban News Agency.

U.S. Companies Preparing Campaign for Links with Cuba

Washington -Representatives of U.S. companies are getting ready to support within Congress the regulations expected to be issued by the White House in order to relax commercial links with Cuba, an article in The Hill newspaper says today.

Spokespersons for several business groups hope an increased support within Congress to President Barack Obama's decision to change the policy towards Cuba as more people would get permission to travel there to materialize the process of rapprochement, says the journal.

Encouraging results in transportation in Artemisa

Artemisa, Cuba - The 2014 can be described as the best year since the founding of the province, due that the technical availability ratio rose at 63 percent in the passenger activity, the one historically with greater difficulties, stated Juan Carlos Hernández, director general of the Provincial Transport Company.

Maradona: Happy for Having Received a Letter from Fidel Castro

Havana - Former world soccer star Diego Armando Maradona said on Monday to be glad for having received a letter from Cuban leader Fidel Castro, and very happy for knowing that he is in good health condition”.

“I'm rather glad that he (Fidel Castro) has sent me a letter and very happy for knowing that he is in good health. Besides, I’m pretty satisfied with the two De Zurda shows we did in Havana, ” Maradona told reporters at the Jose Marti International Airport, before taking off from Cuba’s capital.

Cuban VP Tours Main Industries in Central Province

Havana, Cuba - Salvador Valdés Mesa, vice president of the State Council, toured significant economic objectives in the province of Cienfuegos related to the industry, the sugar harvest and others, Granma newspaper reported.

In Granos de Aguada Agro-industrial company, he received details on the investment made in assembling a mill that processes five tons per hour and three silos that store a thousand tons each.
