About the holiday period

Artemisa, Cuba.- About the vacation period and in order to insert a community preparing the Youth Club of Computing and Electronics of our town foresee the development of summer courses.
For the structure and the conditions of the centers, one of the facilities in the territory is entitled to exercising the courses considering the use of new technologies.
Training on issues related to computers, communications and electronics is a key pillar for the work of users who requested every summer courses with a duration from 10 and 120 hours, in order to provide new tools for social development of the population.
Was constituted in Artemisa delegation to the tenth congress of the UJC
Artemisa, Cuba - The provincial delegation to the tenth congress of the Cuban Youth Organization (UJC), to be held on next July 18 and 19, was constituted in Artemisa in the presence of the attackers of the Moncada Garrison and members of the Granma´s expedition Ernesto González Campo and Gilberto García Alonso, the first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in Artemisa José Antonio Valeriano Fariñas and Yuniasky Crespo Baquero, First Secretary of the National Committee of the UJC.
At the meeting 35 young people received the membership card that accredits them members of the organization.

Environmental culture can be considered as the system of knowledge, experiences, motivations, values, attitudes concerning the environment and is related to the forms of social consciousness, for it to develop an environmental culture must start by forming a deep awareness of individuals and community groups. This can be identified as environmental awareness.
Using biological means to combat crop pests

San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba. -The Entomophages and Entomopathogens Center (CREE), located in the Agricultural Production Cooperative Augusto Cesar Sandino in the territory produces effective biological means to fight pests and diseases affecting crops.
This method is applied to tobacco crops, so Lázaro Peña Tobacco Enterprise use it for biological control in this season.
Wildfires vs. Environment
There is much to talk these days about the importance of protecting the environment. Increasingly harms nature, specifically due to pollution and the negligent actions of man on the surrounding environment.
Forest fires are one of the underlying causes of environmental damage even in towns like San Antonio de los Baños, where the reforestation is prioritized, also the fire has been an enemy of the forest cover in farm yards and surrounding areas OF Ariguanabo Watershed and forest galleries.
