Havana, Cuba - Cuban economy will continue to improve despite the US blockade, external financial restrictions and the international situation, said Economy minister Marino Murillo as he submitted on Friday the 2015 Economic Plan at a meeting of the Council of Ministers presided over by President Raul Castro.

Cuban Doctor under Ebola Treatment Keeps Making Progress

HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 29 (acn) Cuban doctor Felix Baez, who got infected with the Ebola virus, continues to make progress each day as revealed in latest medical tests.
A communiqué issued by the Geneva-based Univeristy Hospital where the doctor is being treated says that Baez is still weak, but he is making progress and taking his food normally. This favorable process must be ratified with further exams, the report explains.
