Havana - Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, denounced on Tuesday statements by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who congratulated himself on the departure of Cuban doctors from Bolivia.

Havana - With the arrival in the early hours of Monday of 207 Cuban health workers who were in Bolivia, there are now 431 professionals who have come back to the island.

Havana - Two flights bringing members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Ecuador arrived in Santiago de Cuba and Havana early Tuesday.  In both cities, government and public health officials welcomed the aid-workers.

Havana - The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied the alleged link of Cuban diplomatic personnel with the violent events that took place Wednesday at the Venezuelan Embassy in Brazil.

Havana - First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, Raul Castro, was elected delegate to the 5th National Conference of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC), local media reported.

Havana - Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain began the second day of their State visit to Cuba visiting El Templete, monument that remembers the first mass celebrated in Havana in 1519.
