Havana - Cuban Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero said Cuba's travel industry will have a good high season despite the U.S. blockade against the island.

Havana - Two flights bringing members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Ecuador arrived in Santiago de Cuba and Havana early Tuesday.  In both cities, government and public health officials welcomed the aid-workers.

Havana - The National Program on climate change, the preservation of Cuba´s historical memory and the performance of scientific cloisters of Havana, Artemisa, and Mayabeque provinces were the focus of meetings attended Monday by President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.

Havana - First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, Raul Castro, was elected delegate to the 5th National Conference of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC), local media reported.

Havana - Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, denounced on Tuesday statements by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who congratulated himself on the departure of Cuban doctors from Bolivia.

Havana - With the arrival in the early hours of Monday of 207 Cuban health workers who were in Bolivia, there are now 431 professionals who have come back to the island.
