Santiago de Chile - As protests continue throughout Chile, the National Institute of Human Rights (NHRI) presented the latest statistics of detainees and injured since the social protests began on October 17th.  According to its report, there have been 1,420 arrests and 84 people wounded by gunfire so far.

Washington -  A new caravan of 30 cars once again drove through the city of Miami, Florida, to demand an end to the aggressive policies the government of President Donald Trump is enforcing against Cuba.

La Paz - Bolivian President Evo Morales has been re-elected in the first round of voting after obtaining 46.86 percent of the votes against 36.73 percent for right-wing main opposition candidate Carlos Mesa -- giving him a 10-point lead to win outright.
