Henry Jaen wins Marabana marathon

The runner from Santiago de Cuba, Henry Jaen, became the first man to win the Marabana marathon five times, a massive event that sees runners from across the world fill the streets of the Cuban capital.

MARABANA Marathon to be Run Tomorrow in Havana

La Habana - Almost 5 thousand runners, 262 of them visitors from 68 countries will run tomorrow the 31 Edition of MARABANA with distance of 21 and 42,195 kilometers, being the most important running activitiy in Cuba.

Idalys returns to the mat with bronze

Three times Olympic medalist in the 78+ kilograms division, Idalys Ortíz, who won bronze in Beijing 2008, gold in London 2012, and silver in Río 2016, made a triumphant return to the mat during the final day of the Open Judo World Championships, held November 11-12 in the Moroccan city of Marrakech.
