A look at the Cuban National Baseball Series

The second phase of the 54th National Baseball Series heads to its end. Slightly more than 20 games remain for the qualifying stage to come to an end, a very short tour, which will last very few. Doha - The work group of the International Soccer Federation (FIFA) given the task of looking for alternative dates for the Qatar 2022 World Cup proposed today to carry out the tournament in the months of November and December.

Australian City of Brisbane to Bid for 2028 Olympic Games
Canberra - The mayor of Brisbane, Australia, Graham Quirk said today that the city intends to host the Olympic Games in 2028.
That would be the natural choice for the next Australian candidacy, the official said Thursday, according to the newspaper Brisbane Times.
Quirk added that he will propose the plan at a meeting of mayors of Australia's east coast in early March.
In November, Brisbane hosted the G-20 Summit, with thousands of participants from around the world, which is a kind of guarantee for the summer event returning to Australia, 28 years after the success of Sydney.
Jose Mujica Wins Guantánamo-Havana Cycling Tour
Havana, Cuba - Artemisa´s José Mojica was crowned champion of Guantánamo-Havana cycling tour with time of 32: 53.32 hours, after finishing the stage 12th of 126 km between Matanzas and Havana.
Despite arriving 41st to the finish line, Mojica kept the lead and was escorted by Granma´s Yennier Lopez at 1:43 minutes and Sancti Spiritus´ Joel Solenzal (+3:10).
Santiago’s Arnold Alcolea was the winner of the stage.
Cuban Badminton Player Keeps Training in Indonesia
Havana, Cuba - The Cuban badminton player Osleni Guerrero continues training in Indonesia for the Giraldilla International Tournament in Havana, scheduled to be held from March 25 to 29.
Alexis Ramirez, National Badminton commissioner, told ACN that Guerrero remains training hard to successfully deal with the events of this year that also grant points for qualifying to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016.
Cuba To Dominate at World Series of Boxing
Havana - Cuban boxing team Domadores de Cuba (Tamers) will try to extend its dominio at the 2015 World Series of Boxing, when beating here the British Lionhearts.
The struggle, corresponding to the sixth week of competitions of the event, the Caribbeans come as the only unbeaten, after winning previous games with 24 wins and one reverse.
