The Dead Daisies to Give Historic Concert in Cuba
Havana - U.S. rock band The Dead Daisies will give today the first of two concerts in Havana, where they came decided to lay bridges with Cuban music.
This band, bringing together stars from other groups such as The Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, and Ozzy Osbourne, will bring a proposal dedicated to peace at this capital's Maxim Rock hall.
24th International Book Fair Winds up in Havana
Havana’s International Book Fair Cuba 2015 winds up on Sunday at the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress, the main venue of the literary fiesta.
Dedicated to writers Leonardo Acosta, Olga Portuondo and India as a guest of honor, the fair underway at the former military enclave will host the closing of activities at the Children’s Pavilion Paper Treasure, the awards ceremony of the international the Dinosaur mini-story competition, sponsored by the Onelio Jorge Cardoso Literary Training Center.

Chinese Artists Celebrate Beginning of New Lunar Year in Cuba

Havana - The Folk Music Orchestra of Nanjing, China, will hold today in Cuba with a big concert the first day of the lunar year, according to the calendar to which its country is subjected to.
The group will perform in the Covarrubias hall at the National Theater complex along with the Cuban orchestra Percuba Ensemble, founded in 2000 to merge diverse genders and styles with percussion instruments and show the African descendent music together with the popular music from this country.
Two Rolling Stones Concert with Superband in Cuba

Havana - Darryl Jones and Bernard Fowler, two active members of the musical group Rolling Stones, will perform in Cuba along with the international rock superband The Dead Daisies.
Jones, the legendary 'Munich' has played bass with legends like Miles Davis and Bob Dylan, noted when he reached Havana that he feels honored of being in Cuba, whose music and culture loves.
