United Buddy Bears Exhibition Opens in Havana

La Habana -The traveling exhibition United Buddy Bears was open today in Havana for the Cuban people and tourists, with bears of real size in one of the oldest public spaces in the capital, the San Francisco de Asis Plaza, a place full of memories of cultural and historical events.
The German Ambassador Peter Scholz said that he hopes that this event will be a message of tolerance and friendship between both countries and he express his willingness that this porject wont dissapear without being heard.
Music to enjoy and dance on the last days of 2014

With great dances and concerts in major theaters and plazas of Havana and the rest of the country, the Cuban people will see the year 2014 and receive incoming 2015.

Cuban Radio Announcer, Eduardo Rosillo, passed away in Havana
Considered a radio legend in Cuba, Rosillo was the anchor and announcer of the popular show Alegrías de Sobremesa, a classic of Radio Progreso, also known as La Onda de la Alegría. His decease is an irreparable loss for Cuban radio and TV broadcasting and national culture, since Rosillo was an upholder of popular and traditional Cuban music.
Five Cuban Heroes Sing to Happiness in Historic Concert

Havana, Dec 21 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Five Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando González and René González sang happy with the iconic singer Silvio Rodriguez in his 62nd concert of a tour through neighborhoods in this country.
Hundreds of people brought together yesterday in the parking area of the Latin American Baseball Stadium in this capital, chanted songs of the founder of the Nueva Trova Cubana, accompanied in this occasion by excellent musicians like Jorge Aragon in the piano and Jorge Reyes on the bass.
